Rose Petals and Orange Peel

The river was looking particularly excellent and wintery this morning.

Halloween bonfire at the Sahtlam fire hall, with the Rake out terrorizing everyone.

In case anyone was curious (Elizabeth Briel Sara Brandon), here are three examples of painting techniques for glass tile making. These were done in 30cm by 2cm strips then cut to size. I'm thinking of doing this on tempered glass before shattering it.

This is for Sara Brandon. This mop has been at work all day and just wants to go home and watch something trashy on Netflix and eat popcorn on the sofa in their underpants.

Today we celebrated Michael Witcomb 's birthday by heading into the jungle (down a verrrry long and winding and narrow and partly flooded dirt road) to an animal sanctuary to meet a motley assemblage of animals, including a pig that seems part warthog, part porcupine. Also, crocodiles with missing eyes and broken backs, and a turtle who survived being run over by a car. At the end, we met government conservation folks who brought in a baby crocodile who had an injured eye.
